Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God is available on CD

On July 8, 1741, Jonathan Edwards preached this classical sermon. Many who heard it trembled and cried out for mercy. Others fainted. Five hundred people were converted.

Max McLean, President of the Fellowship of Performing Arts, preached this to 5000 at a recent Ligonier Conference (R.C. Sproul gives the introduction to this recording). His performances are legendary; he is the narrator of the English Standard Version for those who enjoy that translation like I do.

$11.99 less the discount and worthwhile imho.

I've had to put a moratorium on book buying---

Though from Banner of Truth I could order 1 of everything--if I could only afford it.

I hope to aquire as many of these type books as I can during my life to leave to children and grand-children.

Sheila if you ever get down to the metropolitan tabernacle bookshop in london, then you can buy tons of decent books. I think their entire bookstore is based on banner of truth products. Including Joel Beeke (The author of the book you ordered) Also, you can purchase entire CD sets of sermons for reall cheap. Like a £1 a cd or something...some are even as low as 50p per cd rom, which includes a video of the sermon on the cd rom. The selection of puritan and reformed books is big and they can order whats out of stock. They also have a good range of sound commentaries sets ranging from John Macarthur, to John Calvin to A W Pink to Mathew Henry. Its well worth a look if you or anyone else is ever in the area.

    Heres their site...

My wife worrys about the floor under the heavy load of books,
"Do you think it can support all the weight?"

I may have to move the books into the basement.

    Rob,

Unfortunately, we don't have a basement. I think we could do with a seperate room to designate as a library. :D
