The claim here is that "MOST" Christians believe that Penal Subsitution is a false gospel.

I cannot understand gospel except as a penal substitution. Romans 5:8, Romans 6:23. And as an unmerited gift.

Well, that is obviously true given Christians as a whole.

BUT most evangelical Baptists do believe penal substitution... Or some form of it they call Penal Substitution.

So the poll/ OP is flawed given the forum. It would be like posting a poll on a Catholic forum whether there should be a pope.

The title of the thread is "BAPTIST" and Penal Substitution.
Yes, the title is.

BUT the OP is NOT.

YOU TRIED TO PLAY A SHELL GAME AND GOT CAUGHT :Laugh:Laugh:Roflmao:Roflmao:Roflmao:Roflmao

The quote in the OP is of me saying most Christians are not Penal Substitution theorists.

You even point to that post in the OP.

The OP is about MOST CHRISTIANS regardless of the title

But since you point out the title is not descriptive of the OP I will close it for you as it violates BB rules (#8).

Please feel free to start a thread about the OP.
You can also start one about the title of the OP.
