Baptist Foundation Trial Verdict

    The news just came out that the jury has found the former president and chief financial executive guilty of defrauding investors of the Baptist Foundation of Arizona. Now lets see what the sentencing will be. As of today there are still people waiting for the return of their money from the foundation, unfortunately much of it has been siphend off by the lawyers. Seems like the investors are the losers whether by the foundation or by the lawyers. Sad statement concerning God and mammon in the church.

    I recall a similar case some years ago. The lawyers got millions. Out of the kindness of his heart, one lawyer sent calendars and ballpoint pens to the "case-winning" investors.
