I feel so sorry for Zoey. She is the victim in all of this. Her "parents" should have known what the rules for attendance are at that school.

What about everything in between? Teacher conferences, school programs where the parents are there? Does that lead the school into compliance with God or compliance to accept the same sex couple? Does their child need special exceptions, like pronouns, dress code, it would never end, not to mention that it is not the Baptist belief in the first place. Why would the ‘parents’ enroll their child in a Baptist school? The same reason that same sexers go to a Christian baker for a wedding cake. Not because he makes the best cakes ever, but because they want to make themselves the victims, & become legends in their own twisted minds, for the ‘cause’, not for the child. The child is the only victim here. Did you hear not even a week ago, that a ‘married’ same sex male couple in Georgia was arrested for using ‘their’ children for child porn? The children are always the true victim.

The child was already enrolled last year in the Christian school by her father. The father died and she was adopted by her aunt just prior to the school year beginning.

It does not appear this school was “targeted” by the parents.

peace to you

Thanks for the info on this case. Extenuating circumstances. Does not change that I believe it not acceptable to have the child remain in the school. The first half of my post remains relevant.

Another Christian school contacted the parents and the child is now enrolled there. Perhaps their teachings are more acceptable for the parents.

I find it interesting, however, the first school was accused of preaching “hate” and the 2nd was referred to as being “good Christians”.

I’ve noticed this trend in these types of issues. I’ve seen liberals, over the last few years, claim God supports their views on issues including same s:x marriage.

peace to you

The child’s father died. She was adopted by her aunt, just this month prior to the start of school.

Toward the end of the story, the parents of the child talk about “good Christians” that reached out to them after these Christians preached their “hate”. Another Christian school has enrolled the child.

Peace to you
Of course the world sees watered down worthless "Christians" as "The good ones".
Seems that Jesus warned that we would be Hated for serving him. If the world loves you, reevaluate quickly!

I am unsure. However, I tend to lean towards this not being a good thing. This girl will be assaulted every day by a godless worldview with her aunt and her aunt's girlfriend, and this school was potentially the only bit of light that she would have had, in addition to both of the lesbians. When the subject of sodomy comes up then they should have told the truth and let the cards fall where they may. Too bad.

The child has been enrolled in another Christian school. There is no need to believe she won’t be exposed to the gospel and the truth.

God puts us where He wants us. As one of my professors use to say, “God can hit straight with a crooked stick”.

I guess it might be useful to examine whether the first school acted appropriately. It comes across as uncaring to force the removal of the child, that had just lost her father, from the friends and teachers she had at that school. It appears to be adding pain for the child that was already suffering.

Peace to you

Statement of Faith at the New School

STATEMENT OF FAITH WE BELIEVE the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct (II Timothy 3:16). WE BELIEVE in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (I John 5:4-6). WE BELIEVE in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal, future return (I Corinthians. 15:3; I Peter 2:21-24; John 3:16). WE BELIEVE in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal joy of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost (John 5:24, 28, 29)…in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ... in the Christian's hope... the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:16-18).

From the student handbook:
MARRIED STUDENT POLICY It is the policy of HCS not to accept any student who is married or has been married. If a student marries while enrolled at HCS, that student must withdraw immediately.

NOTE: High school transfer students will be required to take an unannounced urine drug test during the first semester (cost is $20). The final decision in regard to admission to the school resides with the Principal and/or Admissions Committee of the HCS School Board.

Hamilton Christian School is a school with high moral and ethical standards,
(but I did not see any specifics)

PLEDGES All students are expected to say all of the pledges. If a student objects for reasons of conscience, this objection should be noted with the administration at registration. Those objecting for conscientious reasons will still be expected to stand and remain quiet

The sad part to me was that a Homosexual couple can leave one church for standing up for the Biblical definition of marriage and immediately find another local “church” that will love, welcome and affirm their same sex Christian Union.

Judges 17:6 [NASB95]
In those days there was no king in Israel; every man did what was right in his own eyes.

I'm skeptical being as the two referred to Christians that reached out to them as "good," while the others preached "hate." That seems to be a fairly strong indicator that those who reached out to them were of the liberal bent. Usually, sodomites, pro-aborts, etc. refer to liberal Christians as "good," "true," "loving," "XYZ" Christians.
