Feel free to join, but do know this is a KJV Only forum. We're Dispensational, Pretrib, Premill, Independent Baptists.

Please pray for the forum also.

    God bless

I believe spamming other forums is against the rules here.

    Just curious -
Do you all read the actual 1611 version? I have a copy (no, I'm saying the copy I have was actually printed in 1611- ) It is extremely hard to read.
would I be correct that you all use the 1769 version of the King James.
Would you dispute the info on this link page?

    Just a comment

While I am obviously interested in this since I myself am KJVO (and I will check it out and maybe join), I admit that I'm not directly aware of the BB rules governing referencing other on-line forums. Ann says this is "spamming" but I don't see how a simple invitation coming from a BB member is "spamming" in the strictest sense. She just doesn't like KJVO and that may be an indication of her prejudiced opinion in that regard...sorry Ann but that is just how I see it....no disrespect intended. If there is a rule against it then I myself would not attempt to violate it....however....that said....I fail to see the HARM in calling attention to the existence of other on-line forum communities to make people aware of their existence. However, I DO NOT advocate the practice of direct quoting of the material from one forum to the next...linking of threads or posts...MAYBE(as long as the material is suitable for viewing)....but cutting and pasting of ANYTHING....NO..NEVER. That is just my humble opinion.

    One additional thought....

In thinking about this it occurred to me that depending upon how strict their views about "ecclesiastical seperation" are, that other forum MIGHT actually deny me membership even though I am KJVO, just based on the fact that they,as Independent Baptists, might object to the fact that I am currently a member of a Southern Baptist congregation. I might just have to test that theory. It would be a disappointment to me if it did happen but not a big surprize. I sometimes feel like a "man without a country" denominationally speaking. For the record...I'm not what most would consider a "good" Southern Baptist. I think of myself more as a "DEPENDENT Baptist. That might be a topic for another thread. IF I do decide to try and join the other forum (and IF they give me "the boot") I'll be sure to let ya'll know!:tear:

I posted as I did and would have posted had anyone posted any other board because most of the boards I frequent have rules against such a practice.

    OK.......

OK Ann....fair enough....but is it really "spamming"? Is it wrong to even refer "by name" to another Board? By the way...I did go over there and join just to "broaden my horizons"...they haven't "tossed" me yet! For the record....I do appreciate your normal sense of "gravity" about most matters on here. God Bless You.

I don't know. It depends on the rules. One horse board I'm on, you can't even mention the name of another board. On another parenting board, you can mention the another board but you can't post a link. So that's why I was warning that it may be against the rules. I looked it up for BB and it said advertising and selling but I didn't see anything about other boards so I guess it's OK. :)

ETA - It's an immediate banning offense on the horse board so that's why I posted the warning!

Usually advertising about another board would be like advertising another product. Many boards forbid it by name. I would agree that it was against the rules. i'ts not for discussion but to advertise his product(another forum).

    Incredible

I'm not surprised by your statement/reaction......BUT...considering all the unbiblical nonsense that is listed at the bottom of each of your posts that describes WHAT you believe.....I'd say that is a bit like the "pot calling the kettle BLACK". I have never seen such a mess of unbiblical confusion in my entire life. I know I may be vilified for what I just said but it's about time SOMEBODY said the truth. There is a BIG difference between respect and honor and WORSHIP.

So I guess the forum referenced refuses to accept the one and only English version that should be picked if there could be only one. The Geneva. :tonofbricks:

    Don't Know...

You can always go sign up and ask them...it is free...might be an interesting discussion...HERE...OR there. Nothing wrong with being a member of several forums. The free exchange of ideas is usually a valuable tool.

I don't think this would fall under the "unpardonable sin!"

Please fell free to drop in with us time to time to discuss the faith, and maybe some from here will drop into to see you folks over there!

A fundamentalist who has it all figured out... If I had a nickel for everyone of you I have met... you spout what is biblical more than a pope speaking ex cathedra!!! Think about it!

Clearly you have not read much over there or interacted with Cody and his ilk. They venerate both men and books to a nearly divinized status. Some even equate the KJV with God (I'm not making this up). So I am justified in what I said. Their forum is tripe. I'd rather not see it advertised here at all. It should be removed immediately.

And I'll guarantee you this... Cody would not let me post my websites (and probably not even this forum) on his forum. So why the hypocrisy? Why is it ok to do here but not his forum? Hmmmm.... Think about that one too while you're at it.

the 2 MOST "out there" encounters had with someone holding to KJVO was that the Kjv was right, evenat times corrected the greek/hebrew texts, and that John meant the coming of the KJV to us by the term 'Word' in John 1!

Watch this video and skip to 1:25 to hear someone say that the KJV is god w/ a bunch of amen's in the background.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QCBxhSPbkk&list=UUthFPCtTLFuagCMSkQL0I9g&index=31

If that is not enough, the rest of the video will make you vomit.
