There is a move afoot that will make replay a part of baseball, at least starting with fair or foul on home run calls.

Some would like to see trapped balls in the outfield (or catches/non catches) reviewed. Some would like to see plays at the plate or plays at any base reviewable.

    What about you?

I would like to see it on home run calls only.

I would be in favor for instant replay on many calls as long as it was used sparingly.
I just don't want it happening all the time.

    Home run calls only.

You can't do it on trapped balls, because what if the ump calls it a catch but then is overruled - how do you determine the advancement of runners? It's similar to football - you can't review a call that was ruled down and then overturn it by calling it a fumble, because no one knows how the play would have turned out afterwards.

I don't think plays at the plate should be reviewed either.

I oppose all replays in all sports.

Officials calls are a part of the game and balance out over the years.

I'd like to keep the replay review way out of baseball.

No way replay should be for balls/strikes, base plays, caught or trapped (Andy hit the nail on the head). I lean towards keeping it out all the way. However, I wouldn't die too many deaths if they show fair/foul/HR. Baseball has survived all these years without it.

Interesting conundrum, huh? The technology is certainly there, but you could never take the umpire from behind home plate or it just wouldn't be baseball. So, where do you stop? Seems like HR/fouls etc would be an acceptable level to most, but balls/strikes would likely never fly. At the same time, who wants to slow down the game? There is already a move afoot to speed up MLB games, so that would be an issue. Our family watches a LOT of games on TV, and quite frankly the umpire's calls just add to the excitement of the game........ as long as they don't go against the team you're rooting for.

I know that Cardinal fans wished it were around in 1985 during the 6th game of the World Series.
