In 2019 when Pete Hegseth was working for Fox news, he was sent to Jerusalem to cover a story on the battle between the Judaists, Muslims, and Christians for Jerusalem. It's an interesting watch in what is exactly going on in Jerusalem.
What I found the most interesting was Pete found several Judaists and Muslims that spoke freely on camera, but could not find a single Christian who would be seen on camera for fear of persecution.
He found one Christian converted from Muslim to Christianity that was a Palestinian Christian that spoke openly. No Christian from Jerusalem would speak on camera but did speak to Pete in private revealing the persecution the Christians are still facing as in 1st century Israel.
They told Pete if they were identified their businesses would be shutdown by the government of Israel, they would be forced out of their apartments where they lived and would be ID' to the point of not being able to get a job.
