Baylor vs. Notre Dame (Baptists vs. Catholics). Did anyone stay up to see the game on Tuesday? A lot of fun to watch. Brittney Griner is an amazing ball player and a darn nice person to boot. The scary thing is that they only have a couple of seniors on the team -- and they're not even starters.

It's a bit weird. I used to follow womens ball somewhat closely (being a Vols fan)...and I look at some of those late 90's Vols teams, early 2000's UConn teams, and the mid 2000's Vols teams...and I think they were all significantly better than Baylor. I kinda feel women's ball this year and last year was down substantially.

Still, 40-0 is something. But I think both UT and UConn would've had 40-0 teams had they had that many games.

They probably could have won that many games. Probably some of the men's teams too.

I have a lot of respect for Coach Summit and it pains me to see what she is going through. I saw the UConn women play once during their run in the early 2000's and they were head and shoulders above the rest.

All of that being said, I think the current teams (not just Baylor) play much better basketball than 10 or 20 years ago.
