Don't have a clue about that. The Bible doesn't really address the issue to my knowledge. The only change I know of when it comes to reproduction is that the woman would bear the child with much pain as a result of the fall.

Not sure that we can know something like that. Everything we know is tainted by sin, so we may not be able to fully comprehend life before the Fall.

 

Maybe it would be better to ask this in non-mixed company?

We can never fully understand because we have been tainted by sin.

How does one question "joy unspeakable"? Why would one wonder about "joy unspeakable?"

"It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Full of glory, full of glory,

I shared that with a questioner once. Her reply? "Yeah, but what are we gonna do, just sit around on clouds and sing and play harps?"

Go figure.

 

The Bible says that people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, that we'll be like the angels. Angels have no need for procreation or recreation in that respect. Matthew 22:29-32

 

Were Adam and Eve married? Wouldn't the verses in Matthew talking about marriage (and naturally procreation) not apply to a pre fallen state, nor a post glorified state?

 

Jesus is specifically addressing a question about marriage in heaven in that Matthew passage, so I dont think you caould apply it to the garden, but I could be mistaken

The Bible doesn't say we will be light. We will have spiritual bodies which in some way resemble the physical because they will be like Jesus' resurrected body. Light will come from God but I don't think it all be just light. I don't think God will have a problem enabling us to see.

There is no indication that there are intimate relations in heaven - in fact, as other posters have noted, since no one is "given in marriage" in heaven, that implies no sex. We will have the joy of being with Christ in God's presence; that will be sufficient. We will be praising God.

Before the Fall, God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful, so sex did exist before the Fall.

 

I can tell you one thing: it was without barries, without shame, and without fear of vulerability or harm. After the fall, Adam and Eve realized they were naked, and felt shame. Shame from whom? Other people? No, there were no other people. They felt shame in front of each other. Truly sad.

This might sound a little funny, but I think we're supposed to strive in our marriages to be at a point with our spouses where we have no need for proverbial figleaves. What say ye?
