Ben Carson compares some refugees to 'rabid' dogs

Ben Carson on Thursday compared safeguarding Americans from Islamic terrorists who may sneak into the country as refugees to parents protecting their children from rabid dogs.

"If there's a rabid dog running around in your neighborhood, you're probably not going to assume something good about that dog," Carson said during a campaign stop in Alabama. "And you're probably going to put your children out of the way. That doesn't mean that you hate all dogs."

He added, "But you're going to put your intellect into motion and you're thinking, 'How do I protect my children at the same time? ... I'm going to call the humane society and hopefully they can come and take this dog away and create a safe environment once again.'"

The Republican front-runner said it would be "foolish" to welcome Syrian refugees without systems in place to thoroughly vet them.

"We have to have in place screening mechanisms that allow us to determine who the mad dogs are. Quite frankly, who are the people who want to come in and hurt us and destroy us," he said.

Seriously? If this is a display of Christian love, there will probably be no one in the sound of his voice who wants to have anything to do with Christ.

Your reading comprehension skills are excellent, so I know you could understand the article if you tried. You are simply spinning it into something you wish it was, instead of what it actually is.

I thought you had already determined that Ben Carson was not a Christian, and therefore you couldn't vote for him.

Correct. So I expect a little crazy from someone I truly believe exhibits sociopathic behavior..

Thanks Matt for the correction. I did misread. The title wasn't mine.

I'm not sure what a Rev Mitchell is. But sure. I'll claim it lol.Biggrin

When Matt says you pulled a "Rev Mitchell" in reference to a news story, he means that you copied-and-pasted it exactly as it appeared at the original web site. Then, if it is a very provocative news story, perhaps with a clickbait style headline, the OP can simply fall back on "I only copied-and-pasted the original source."

Okay.Biggrin I t hink it's very rare that I make my own title for a story. I just figure if that's what they call it that's what I'll call it.

Actually comparing islamic terrorists with rabid dogs is a pretty apt comparison.

Not PC, but that's good. Somebody has to tell it like it is.
