    Easy, quick, and covenient (and free). I keep it minimized while I'm surfing and refer to it when needed.

    Note to sound like a broken record :) but http://www.e-sword.net a free one that has many modules also free, as well as a pocket PC version (that is free) that is great.

    Yes, e-sword is another great program. A little cluttered for my taste, but definitely a thumbs up.

    e-Swordis great but I wish it was available for the Palm OS, as well as the Pocket PC.

    I downloaded a Bible program for my Palm, but can't remember the web addy right now. I think it's olivetree.com. They have free and paid downloads.

    I finally gave up trying to compile the source from crosswire on my Linux box. (Sun JDS 2003 - Suse 8.1) I had some library problems that I couldn't upgrade without breaking other things.

    still looking for one written in Java or some other portable format. The power of the evil one (Bill Gates) is still stopping the spread of the gospel in the Land of Penguins.

    If you have the money to spare and enjoy studying either Biblical Greek or Hebrew, try out BibleWorks. I have BibleWorks 5.0 (bought it about 2-3 years ago when I was a freshmen in college) and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!

    I need to update to 6.0 though ;)
