What are some recent archeological discoveries that have proved what the Bible says about something?

Like the Pool of Siloam that was recently discovered in Jerusalem was thought to not really exist by some "scholars".

The Dead Sea scrolls contained an Isaiah scroll that predated any known copy by at least 1000 years, backing up the reliability of our ancient texts.

What are some other good ones like this?

In 1991 they found the bones of Caiphas, the Jewish leader that is mentioned in the new testament. Think of it......a museum somewhere has the bones of someone mentioned in the bible, present when Jesus was.

They've found a stone pillar with Pontius Pilot's name chiseled in it.

The strongest archeological discoveries that have proved the bible true line up with the entirety of Luke and Acts. Those two books, especially Acts, have a HUGE amount of historical details that match the geography, political system, weather patterns, nautical details, local specifics of boundaries, correlation of dates, cultural details, etc. Luke is the greatest historian in ancient times.

For more info, see the books written by Gary Habermas, and the ones by Colin Hemer.

I remember when this hit the news. There was a lot of excitement about it especially among the Jews. A friend of mine made a poignant statement. He said, "They'll never find the bones of my High Priest."
