Joe Biden's $15 Minimum Wage Could Kill More than 1.3 Million Jobs

But then that is typical for democrats, they kill jobs by regulation. I dont think they mind if people as a result lose their job. Now what would be more interesting, pass a law that says businesses can not let people go because they raised the minimum wage.

Then you must pass a law that business's can't go bankrupt or go out of business. Then you must pass a law that government will provide the money to business's so they can't go out of business. Then you must raise taxes considerably to be able to that. On and on and on.

The socialist democrats are just like that.
They could limit salaries too, make it illegal to pay over $50,000 per year, or cap take home pay with a wealth confiscation tax at some level, similar idea.

A BROAD cross country $15 hour wage minimum is a bad idea as some areas of the country have much cheaper living costs.
Socialism fails as it disincentivises working for personal gains, doing better and harder work compared to another does not get you to a better place in life.

The godless left has been using the minimum wage to paint believers as heartless for decades.

My first pay increase was due to an increase in the minimum wage from $1.00 per hour to $1.10 per hour if I remember correctly.

I do not understand why the minimum wage is not tied to the CPI and automatically adjusted, just as my SS monthly allotment is adjusted (or not).

Yes, another inequity concerns corporate compensation packages. Rather than trying to tie them to compensation of the corporation's employees, I think the stockholders should approve these exorbitant packages. Public disclosure and comparison with other corporate packages would, I think, introduce competition, and the market forces would level the playing field. Worth a try...

Yes, this was clear before the election, and why so many millions voted for Trump.

Yet many said they would not vote for the lesser of two evils - so they got the worse evil.

But as far as the minimum wage - Under the 10th amendment- minimum wage is the responsibility of the State/Commonwealth.

By the standards of some, church shouldn’t exist, as there isn’t a perfect one.

As for minimum wage, a state could decide, if its citizens have authorized them.
