Biden says Dems won’t have the votes to convict Trump at impeachment

There is value in doing the right thing, even if no one else has the courage to stand with you.

The Republican Party has tried to make a virtue of cowardice. It won’t work.

Biden is only have this show trial for the purpose of unity.

Biden has NOTHING to do with an impeachment or Senate trial!
Other than giving his view on it.

This is strictly a Congressional event - except for the Chief justice as judge - who has dismissed himself, because Mr. Trump is no longer in office.

It would be a strange turn indeed, if any of the 45 voted to convict after affirming the trial is illegal. Maybe most of the Reps aren't quite as stupid as they looked after all.

As for any Dem defecting on both articles, not holding my breath.

Clearly, all of the impeachment business against Trump has been partisan through and through. Rand Paul is right. The Dems are unhinged, and the whole country is suffering because of them.

I think if Trump was convicted, he would form a new 'Patriot Party', and at least 60% to 75% of republicans would switch and abandon the GOP (maybe some dems too), and the GOP knows that.
And I think Trump has plainly told the GOP that he will do it.

Besides all that this Trump impeachment is very unpopular with many American voters, and the GOP knows it.

And also the democrats dont seem to care what American people want anymore, they have their system of voter suppression in place now.
