But Rush's product is Rush's show NOT the political right. He (as well as so many other political pundits with shows) are likely to say anything sensational to sell their shows. I don't find any of them credible. Most of them make me cringe with the way they talk to and about other people.

Bitsy, I agree with the last part of what you say, but Rush fancies himself the voice of the Right, and the Dittoheads take him seriously. Sad, but true.

You seem to be here as the voice of the left. Shall we censure your posts?

I was listining, thats not quite how it went. He stated that he had not seen him that bad before and wondered if he had not taken his medication or was playing for the camera. He then said that he did not know if he was or not. After several more minutes he got e mails that said others had seen Fox that way. He then appologised and said that he was sorry for thinking that but he had wondered because he had not seen it. He appologised a few times with in the half hour of making the statement and continued on with his point that Fox was useing his illness to gain simpaty for political points.

If Fox wants to advocate killing babies to prolong his life then he gets no sympathy from me. That is a immoral position to take.

Dittoheads take him seriously and lefties can only throw insults talking about his personal mistakes (Oxycontin & Viagra) to avoid arguing serious issues.

BTW the viagra was on the legit prescribed to him by his Dr. but nice smear.

Who died and made you king? I don't place myself as the voice of anyone but myself.

    Hmmm...wondering the same thing myself.

As far as Limbaugh's comment, I was discussing it with my husband and we both agree that he has screwed up way too many times and most conservatives don't even consider him a credible voice for the right anymore.

Limbaugh's being grossly misrepresented in this thread.

Micheal J. Fox has admitted, several times, that he goes off his meds before appearances, & hearings, & such, so let's put this one aside, shall we ?

    Nope, sorry.
You are on the wrong board if you want censure.

You have got to be kidding. Of all the people on the radio, Rush is the king of the personal attack. He has a long history of this.

    Actually, you are utterly wrong.

    Nice try though.....

We already had a long discussion about this topic. If you believe that the embryos are babies, then you evidently are against the process of implanting fertilized embryos into the uterus, as there are thousands of them destroyed in this process every year. If you truly believe that they are babies, then any other position would be "immoral" by the standard you are using.

Feel free to find the topic and revive it should you so desire.....

    Of course.

Considering the sources, did you really expect anything else?

I don't believe the Viagra was the problem, it was whom he used them with...

Do you have a citation for that?

So far, all I've found was: ""People are ready for these answers," said Fox, who was shaking noticeably and joked about never being able to time his medication to press conferences." from Wisconsin Biotech News.

He said it in his book, Daisy.

And why is it OK for Fox to lie about Steele's plans, telling us people would be put in jail, but it's not OK for Rush to ask if he's lieing ?

Even if he was on a ton of meds, the ad is misleading. Reminds me of when the Breck Girl promised Chris Reed he'd walk if the dems were elected.

Vote democrat, or keep 'em crippled....

Do you know what page? It might be in the library.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Please either be explicit or provide a reference.

How is it misleading? And what would a ton of meds have to do with it?

    How is that misleading?

Bush is not the science president (which should not be a bad thing for you). His former head of the FDA made medical decisions based on politics rather than on medicine. Each Republican politician has his own views on science and research - what is Steele's?
