A pastor these days needs to be absolutely above suspicion.
Brothers, don't ever be alone anywhere with a woman who isn't your wife. Not (only) because you may be tempted, but because you may face allegations that cannot be proven false.

Need to practice the Billy graham rule, as he never allowed for either him or any other male staffer to be alone with any other woman but his own wife!
My pastor will schedule to counsel with women, but the church secretary MUST be there by them, and his door open at all times!
and even if it is proven false - the info is out there and some will conveniently forget the facts.
Some of us travel with female coworkers all over the nation. Attempting to use that rule would make me unemployed.

Obviously. This is professional business travel.
If you haven't done that, we check in to the hotel at the same time, but I never know her room number and she doesn't know mine. If I need to reach her, I call her cell phone and vice versa.
