Billy Graham has passed away

Rest in peace Rev. Graham. You have been a great servant of God.
His methods are not above criticism, but doubtless he was instrumental, under God, in the salvation of thousands.
His methods, largely criticized by those who have no credibilty on this issue, are responsible for an unknowable number of people coming to the Lord.

My heart mourns for his family but rejoices for a man who served God well. He has been ill for quite a few years and his daughter Anne told me a few years ago that he was mostly bedridden then (she came to our church a few years ago where her husband grew up - his father was one of our pastors many years ago). I know he was so heartbroken over the loss of his beloved Ruth and was looking forward to reuniting with her.

As an evangelist, Dr. Graham desired that men and women hear the Gospel and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We rejoice for all of those who accepted Christ’s free gift of salvation through his ministry.”

I wondered how many posts it would take before criticism was spoken against this great man of God.
A great man of God has gone to where he belongs and has his eternal reward.
Well, now Him and Dr Sproul can agree with Calvin and others on doctrines and practices! As all now have perfect theology, for its Jesus giving it to them!
Right now, he and Ruth are no doubt worshiping the Lord Jesus, right next to all those the Lord brought in thru His ministry!
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?

"Even if he dies. . ."
Billy died, and after hearing some things he believed, from his own lips, he's dead for good.
Absent from the Body, alive with Christ....
