Won’t they just go away already?
Have you heard? Black Lives Matter tried to reclaim Holy Week for racial justice or something. Earlier this week, they marched up and down holding crosses with Michael Brown’s name on them. Some of the captions read, “We are marching on this road to Calvary.”
At the same time, Michael Brown’s uncle, who was the pastor who gave his eulogy, totally compared him to Jesus Christ directly, so it only makes sense.
Remember?
“Michael Brown was 18 years old. He was shot around noon. Our Lord and Savior hung on the cross — now compare our time frame 12 o’clock to the Jewish time frame, which is at the sixth hour. Michael Brown died on August the 9th. Jesus hung on the cross between the sixth and the 9th hour.”
That’s only a part of the lunacy.
In other parts of the country, women compared their grievances (of police brutality) to those of Jesus’ mother.
Because totally.
On Friday at 2 p.m., the group of mothers and artists marched to St. Louis City Hall and the federal building, as part of their demonstration they called “Reclaim Holy Week."
