The results show that 78 percent of all participants preferred “all lives matter” over “black lives matter.” Eleven percent chose “black lives matter” and nine percent said neither statement reflects their point view.
Specifically among black voters, 31 percent said they prefer “black lives matter,” while 64 percent chose “all lives matter,” according to Rasmussen. Only nine percent of whites said they identify more with “black lives matter” while 81 percent went with “all lives matter.” Among other minority voters, ten percent responded with “black lives matter” and 76 percent said “all lives matter.”
The results were published just a little more than a year to the day that unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown was shot dead by a Ferguson, Missouri, police officer, sparking racially charged protests across the country.
