    About 50% of Civil War wounded died from their wounds. About 2/3 of all Civil war deaths were due to illness. In contrast, about 6% of American wounded in WW2 died, & less than 2% died of illness.

    What tha heck was the last four paragraphs all about? The whole article gave us a history lesson about a Civil War battle and then author screws up a basically good editorial by bashing Bush and his administration in regards to Katrina…Pitiful
