Blue Lives Matter (Back the Blue)

Blue Lives Matter was a movement that spring up in wake of the George Floyd riots, primarily among conservative Republicans.

This movement seems, to a great extent, to have died out.

Reading posts on this forum I understand that sentiment changed with many on Jan 6 as conservative rioters adopted the methods of Floyd rioters.

The FBI has, IMHO, wasted time and money by searching for Jan 6 protestors who committed no actual crime worse than simply trespassing. And I believe this is political.

But at the same time I have heard very little support from conservatives when it comes to prosecuting those who beat law enforcement officers, who drug officers down the Capitol steps, who attacked police officers with chemical spray, who beat and took an officers equipment, etc.


Is viewing law enforcement as an oppressive enemy something that has crossed political lines?
