Baucham, Voddie T., Jr. Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement and Evangelicalism's Looming Catastrophe. Washington, D. C.: Salem Books, 2021.

In his informative 2021 book, Voddie T. Baucham, Jr., Dean of the School of Divinity at African Christian University, examines the worldview behind the social justice movement and Critical Race Theory.

Voddie T. Baucham, Jr., a black pastor, wrote: "For the antiracist, the goal is equitable outcomes" (FAULT LINES: THE SOCIAL JUSTICE MOVEMENT AND EVANGELICALISM LOOMING CATASTROPHE, p. 86)

Voddie T. Baucham, Jr. quoted Milton Friedman as writing: "A society that puts equality--in the sense of equality of outcome--ahead of freedom will end up with neither equality nor freedom. The use of force to achieve equality will destroy freedom, and the force, introduced for good purposes, will end up in the hands of people who use it to promote their own interests" (FAULT LINES: THE SOCIAL JUSTICE MOVEMENT AND EVANGELICALISM LOOMING CATASTROPHE, pp. 89-90).

Voddie T. Baucham, Jr. wrote: "Black Lives Matter is an openly pagan Marxist-Leninist organization" (p. 218).

He has a chapter [chapter 7] that concerns the Southern Baptist Convention's 2019 Resolution 9 on Critical Race Theory, discussing how the original resolution was changed before the vote on it.

Some general comments about this book found online--"In 2021, Baucham published his new book, 'Fault Lines: The Social Justice Movement and Evangelicalism's Looming Catastrophe.' He spoke out against the social justice movement and Critical Race Theory (CRT) in the book. CRT is an academic concept, which states racism is not only the by-product of individual bias and prejudice but is also rooted in legal systems and policies. Baucham has also described the social justice movement as a pseudo-religion in the book."
