Several people got into a brawl Tuesday night as the graduating students marched in to receive their diplomas at Bellevue Baptist....witnesses say it may have started over someone trying to save seats.

Oh geeze ~ and just think these people have been the ones charged with teaching the foundations of the students who will shortly be unleashed out into society.

It isn't any wonder that God's people are often referred to as children... Brothers and Sisters... He hit me first... No I didn't... She hit me first... Brother Glen:rolleyes:

What is this world coming to? If the church folks are going banana's over saving seats at church, what will be next?

Just a real shame!

Back in my day when graduation was approaching the entire class and parents went to a Church Service together...ie a baccalaureate and then a few days later had the graduating ceremony at the school.

Don't know if kids today still do that. And some schools are so populated now, halls or stadiums are rented for the graduation ceremony.

This is the first time I have heard of a graduation "ceremony" being held IN a Church....so I would bet, the representation of the "guests", ie parents, are not all Christians.

However one would THINK, a guest should know HOW TO conduct themselves IN a Church, regardless of their beliefs.

Disgusting behavior displayed, for sure!

I'm not sure it was a brawl. Looks like one woman doing all the damage.

The church provided the space and security. Likely because it's the largest auditorium around. It had no control over the event itself.

Given that the church only provided the space, that's very likely. Maybe folks should perform some due diligence before posting. Nah, that'll never catch on.
