Breaking News: Baseball great, Kirby Puckett Dead at age 44...

    Kirby Puckett died Monday evening as the result of a stroke suffered Sunday afternoon.

    I always liked Kirby and loved it when he lead the Twins with victories over the Cardinals and the Braves in the WS.

    I understood he got nearly to 400 pounds... he must have really just let himself go. I hope he knew Jesus.

    Wow, I just saw a recent video of Kirby at a golf outing and I hardly recognized him. He had put on a lot of weight.

    He was accused of making sexual advances on a lady a few years back (after his retirement)...I hated to hear about that...whatever happened to those charges? (It seemed like I heard they were dropped, but I'm not sure)

    I will always remember him hitting the homerun that won game 6 against Atlanta in the early 90's.
