I know Rev. Falwell isn't popular around here, but if he has had a respiratory arrest and is on a machine in critical condition, he may be going home soon.

I don't particularly like the guy that much, but I am sorry to hear that he is in such bad shape. My prayers are with him that he will recover.

There is rumor that a feeding tube is in the offing. Let's hope the libs don't get near him, or he is finished. :D

Seriously, we ought to pray for his recovery according to the will of God. [IMG]

That stuff is going around an awful lot lately ... It seems to take months to get over.

Hubby got a call on his cell phone from his pulmonary specialist today. He's just gotten the news about Jim's double pneumonia a week and half ago. He wanted to know why Jim wasn't hospitalized and warned him that if he starts feeling bad AT ALL, to go right to the ER and demand they call the specialist. He told Jim this is a very bad year for pneumonia and a very virulent strain or strains.

    Praying for Rev. Falwell.

Why wasn't he hospitalized? Your tough Diane, take him there and check him in. That's what my wife would do.

Phillip, I'm NOT tough in any sense of the word. [IMG] However, HMO's and VA's.

I'll be praying for him as well. He has made his mistakes over the years but who hasn't?

I saw an Easter service by Falwell Sunday evening. Sure, he hasn't been perfect, but who, except Jesus, HAS been? His sermon was straight from Scripture, with nothing added or left out. He preached upon WHY JESUS DIED.

I, too, shall pray for his recovery.

I'll be praying for him as well. I believe that he has stood for Christ no matter what. He's taken alot of criticism and still stood firm. No matter what opinion we may have let's all pray for his recovery and for God's will to be done.

    In Christ,

    Brooks

Praying for his recovery....he is a Christian, and he always stands up to the media and is scripturally informed on issues.

Amen, Brother Dcorbett -- Preach it!

I note that Dr. Jerry Falwell is the person
who wrote the definition of what
    "Independent Fundamental Baptist" means.
Too bad the IFBs have kicked Falwell out
    of their unorganized "organization".

    Ed,

You and I finally agree on something. Thank you, my friend.
