British minister, known for unsettling evangelicals in UK, takes on doctrine of Original Sin
A Baptist minister and author who shocked British evangelicals when he came out in support of same-sex marriage in 2013 now says Christians talk too much about Original Sin and not enough about humanity’s inherent goodness and worth.
Steve Chalke, founder of the Oasis Trust, says in a new video resource that the message that humans are inherently bad isn’t the only way to interpret the story of Adam and Eve’s disobedience in the Garden of Eden as told in Genesis 3.

Steve Chalk and his teaching have long been rejected by Christians, but he has a popular appeal.

Theological liberals are the most dangerous of all cultists because they are inside the church. Does Steve Chalke think that we are in the Garden of Eden? And why will he die? Does he not believe that the wages of sin is death? Jesus said that only God is good.

As do many teachers of heresy and false doctrines.

Chalke also says the common idea that Adam and Eve’s sin brought death into the world “can’t be right,” because the story says the reason God removed the couple from the garden was to prevent them from eating from the tree of life and thereby become immortal, implying that they were going to die anyway.

What Bible did Chalke take that from?... What does scripture say?

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

Since I am not British... And this is just a suggestion... That Covenanter send him a new Bible as his seems to be defective... Brother Glen:)

The boat of Chalke's orthodox credentials sailed some time ago...this latest development sadly doesn't surprise me.

I don't think a new Bible would help.

He seems to be getting his bibles from same source as those such as the Queen james Bible over there!
