Burrell Guitars

    Burrell Guitars are hand crafted instruments. There is no production line. They are not mass produced. The wood is hand selected, and not a laminate. But that is not the best feature of a Burrell Guitar. What makes a Burrell stand out is the design. The guitar actually conforms to your body. The body of the guitar is tapered in such a way as to allow for better control and visibility. Mr. Burrell didn't stop there! The neck is also curved in such a way to allow better control. His designs are patented, and sometimes imitated, but never duplicated!

    I'ld say each one was played by Pete Townshend at 3 shows, then passed on to Jimi Hendrix for another 2... :eek:

    Wouldn't mind a go at one though, see if they live up to their blurb [​IMG]

    I can't imagine that the acoustics would be good with that design.

    It's pretty but I think I'll stick with my Martin.

    I really do hate to goof on these guitars, poncho. I guess you are pretty ecxited about them. Like Mike said, I prefer my Martins, and my Bourgeois Ricky Skaggs, the best D-28 style dreadnaught EVER. Ain't a banjo made that will stand up to it.

    My good friend, Greg Boyd, says right now is the best time in American history for acoustic guitars. Companies like Beard, Scheerhorn, Prucha, Collins, Lakewood, Gilchrist, & Bourgeois are making guitars, banjos, dobros & mandolins that are better than the pre-war Martins & Gibsons. Have yerself a look-see.

    No, I'm not all that hepped up on them Bro Curtis. Just discovered the website googlin and thought I'd share it. Been thinkin about a Martin as my next guitar actually. Thanks for the link.

    No but I wouldn't hesitate to test one out if it happened to find it's way into my friends music store someday.
