Very good example of liberal minds at work. They'd love to pay back the Republicans for impeaching their poster child.

These two quotes stand out to me in this article...

"I realize it's an extreme thing to do, and really silly in a way," said Robert George, 74, a retired photographer. "But I'm really angry about us getting involved in the war in Iraq and him (Bush) disrespecting the will of the people."

So, he followed the guidelines, got the needed signatures and had it added to the ballot. Sounds like democracy at work. Was it a crazy thing to do? Yes. I am glad to know that in this country, if you follow the guidelines and believe in somthing you can see results.

"It appears that the left wing knows no bounds in their willingness to waste taxpayer dollars to make a futile counterproductive partisan political point," said Blair Latoff. "Town people would be much better served by elected officials who sought to solve problems rather than create them."

I find this quote very funny! That anyone in Washington would even think about talking about wasting taxpayer dollars!! To think of how much money Washington wastes every day, every hour even!

I don't think anyone in Washington can or should say anything.

I hope they follow through, arrest them, extremely render them somewhere in Poland and then detain them indefinitely without trial in Guantanamo Bay with daily waterboarding sessions.

More's the pity: I'd like to see those two get a healthy dose of their own medicine. You're right of course - but I can still dream...

Oh I disagree. I think the Bush and Cheny should go up there right now. The link admits that the resolutions were non binding and carried no legal weight. I think George Bush should force their hand, make them enumerate their allegations and demand a trial so that he can clear his name.

Of course he probably has better things to do, but I would still like to see it.

If you don't like the war, that's fine, I don't like it either. If you think W. is a bad president, hey you have lots of company. But when you accuse someone of breaking the law and want them arrested you need to put up your evidence or be charged with slander.

While it would be fun to see it play out... It won't happen.

Also, my mentioning Washington was to the fact that someone in Washington has the nerve to talk about wasting time and money. Isn't that what Washington does everyday?!?

I find it funny that Washington, the king of waste has the nerve to talk about waste.

He has more important things to do than cater to the whims of every addlepated liberal in city government across the nation.

I would like to see the attempt. I would like to see the knuclehead that actualy tries to put the cuffs on. The secret Service might have something to say about that. That would be fun.

So now we are going to arrest presidents because of unpopular wars (etc)? Well that should destroy our nation in no time.

Is the 74 year old moron who made that statement aware of the fact that in 2003 Bush still had a good approval rating? Is he aware of the fact that when Bush invaded Iraq the American people were largely on his side (as was Hillary)? He should be thankful that stupidity is not against the law. Otherwise he might get a life sentence  .

By the way the op title is incorrect. The President is not subject to arrest. These folks have no legal standing, authority, nor power to arrest.

I don't understand why you would refer me anywhere. I was just providing information; I was not offering a comment.
