Calvinist vs Jehovah's Witnesses

    JWs: believe in a chosen few
    Cal: yep

    JWs: interpret scripture thru watchtower literature
    Cal: interpret scripture thru the institutes

    JWs: use watchtower bible
    Cal: use Calvinist leaning Zondervan NIVs.

    JWs: knock on doors
    Cal: don't bother knocking since you're going to hell any way

    JWs: both black and white....in the same church!
    Cal: mostly white, upper middle class, in need of a cushy theology to justify thier opulence and lack of concern for their fellow man (imo).
