This song is always a big favorite at our VBS - we had ours the second week of June. I am the perennial secretary and after I get done with the attendance roll and counting the offering, I go out and sing with the kids in the music area. It is so much fun!

By the way, I might as well share something that we started last year as an incentive for offerings - the kids seem to really love it, and our offerings have doubled since before we did this two years ago. We have a "heavy offering" night - the boys offering and the girls offering are weighed separately, and the winner is the one with the "heaviest" offering! They get recognition at the end of the day's VBS assembly. We send the VBS offering to the Children's Home, and know that we are helping in some small way to make life easier for a lot of children who are in dire need.
