I am glad it is not a Massachusetts-Texas World Series. [IMG] That would have been too much.

I think the Cards will win, but the under canines are certainly those Astros.

Good luck to the Cardinals as the NL representative. I think they will need it.

It would be neat to have the Red Sox win but either team is fine with us. They've both played really well.

Game One was really poorly played. I kept scratching (my head, even though it was a baseball game) and thinking, "They pay these guys $$ to play like this?"

Larry Walker, my Rockie bud, acquitted himself. And so will the birds, methinks, in games to come.

You like the Rockys? I've been to one of their games.

The Cardinals are deep trouble. They are now 1-6 on the road in the postseason and 6-0 at home. Having home field advantage bailed them out in the NLCS, but unless they win at least one game in Fenway Park they cannot win the World Series.

Game two was uglier than one. Four MORE errors. If the Sox win with 8 errors already, it is NOT a testament to how "good" they are but on how incompetent their opponents are.

Any team that has 8 errors should be beaten.

Disagree, Dr. Bob. I believe the Red Sox victories are a tribute to their overwhelmingly superior pitching- specifically, Schilling and Foulke. They and their bullpen mates have alomost singlehandedly overcome any challenges created by their teammates' incompetence in the field, IMHO.

I agree with Greg. The Red Sox pitchers (other than Pedro [IMG] ) have been spectacular.

Furthermore, if the Red Sox can WIN with 8 errors it's either a testament to their offensive abilities or their pitching abilities OR it's a testament to how terrible the Cardinals are. [IMG]

The Cardinals are far from terrible. They have three of the best hitters, and the best center fielder in the last 30 years.

Last nite, the errors didn't seem to hurt. One run in, because Schilling was on top of his game. Game one, the Red Sox simply out hit them.

Sloppy play in the early stages, we'll see what happens in St. Louis, where I expect a much different atmosphere. Remember, David Ortiz will be at first base, so the defense may really be bad.

St. Louis is in a big trouble down 0-3 against Red Sox now.

Will St. Louis comeback and win 4 games in a row to win World Series to become the only second team in MLB history beside Boston? Hardly.

25 teams in MLB post-season playoff history failed to make their comeback from down 0-3. Boston is the only one team of 26 teams made comeback from down 0-3 against Yankees and won the series recent.

Will St. Louis doing a miracle against Red Sox 4 games in a row, to become second team of MLB post-season playoff history??

    Well, wait and see.

I support Red Sox. Because Red Sox suffering 86 years of drought without win World Series. I think it is now time for Red Sox to end 86 years of drought.

Will Red Sox ends 86 years of drought tomorrow night? I don't know. I hate to miss latter part of Game 4, because I have go to work tomorrow night - 3rd shift job.

I would like to see Red Sox win tomorrow night to end 86 years of drought. Wait and see.

    GO RED SOX!!!

I'd like to see the season end. Baseball is one of my least favorite sports to watch (but loved playing it for many many years).

Watching soccer or WNBA (is that season over? Does anyone care?) would be worse.

    But not by far.

I just wonder if your position is the same for the Chicago teams. The White Sox have not won a World Series in 87 years, and the Cubs have not won one in 96 years.

But not as bad, evidently, as Cardinal baserunning.
