Carter's lies

Carter is on the tv today saying that Israel's treatment of Palestine is the cause of Islamofascism and Islamic terror worldwide.

The reason for Carter's lies are that the funding for his library and center at Emory University in Atlanta comes from the Arabs.

I am going to try to list some of the gifts and then give the link:

1. Especially lucrative have been Carter’s ties to Saudi Arabia. Before his death in 2005, King Fahd was a longtime contributor to the Carter Center and on more than one occasion contributed million-dollar donations. In 1993 alone, the king presented Carter with a gift of $7.6 million.

2. Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, has donated at least $5 million to the Carter Center.

3. Meanwhile the Saudi Fund for Development, the kingdom’s leading loan organization, turns up repeatedly on the center’s list of supporters.

4. Carter has also found moneyed allies in the Bin Laden family, and in 2000 he secured a promise from ten of Osama bin Laden's brothers for a $1 million contribution to his center. To be sure, there is no evidence that the Bin Ladens maintain any contact with their terrorist relation.

5. High praise for Carter’s work -- and not inconsiderable financial support -- also comes from the United Arab Emirates. In 2001, Carter even traveled to the country to accept the Zayed International Prize for the Environment, named for Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, the late UAE potentate and former president-for-life. Having claimed his $500,000 purse, Carter enthused that the “award has special significance for me because it is named for my personal friend, Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan.”

6. Still other supporters include Sultan Qaboos bin Said, who sits atop Oman’s absolute monarchy. An occasional host to Carter, the sultan has also made generous contributions to his center. Prior to inviting Carter for a “personal visit” in 1998, the sultan pledged $1 million to the Carter Center, promising additional support in the future.

7. Similarly, Morocco’s Prince Moulay Hicham Ben Abdallah, the second in line to the kingdom’s throne, has in the past partnered with Carter on the center’s initiatives.

Evidently Carter isn't the only ex politician being funded by Arabs these days.

Quite a few republican ex-politicians are taking money from the Arabs these days as well.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-01-13/sale-highest-bidder-%E2%80%93-how-middle-eastern-governments-are-buying-us-political-process

BTW, Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal is also the second largest shareholder of, wait for it . . . News Corporation! That's right, Fox News is also being funded by an Arab, a "royal" Arab.

http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Alwaleed_bin_Talal

Oops, I probably wasn't supposed to bring that up in a thread you posted about a democrat. Sorry, I just can't help myself CMG, I hate only hearing part of the story.

Carter attacked Israel as the cause of the Paris terrorist attack so he is in a class by himself. He would not have his fancy center at Emory University in Atlanta without the Arabs and they have also given him a lot of spending money so he can be a big shot.

Your subject is already in your own thread and is a separate matter from Carter.

For the record, Rove and others, realizing that Jews vote straight Democrat, tried to get US Islamists to vote GOP.

We are keenly aware of all of this here in central Indiana because we are stuck with a Moslem Brotherhood front organization--the Islamic Society of North America.

Why don't you start another thread of Arab influence in the GOP since Carter is a special case because he is a liar and some Democrats have even suggested that he is treasonous.

I already did. Seems the rinocons here want to believe that only democrats can be traitors. I don't have a problem with you calling out traitors CMG. I applaud your effort. I do however have a problem with you protecting the traitors among the republicans by trying to keep the focus all on the traitors among the democrats.

Carter isn't a "special case" at all.

Both parties have sold us out to foreign interests.

No, Carter is in a class by himself because he probably has taken tens of millions of dollars.

Look, I have been thinking on this thing about Arab influence for a year. It takes time to work out all of the details. Mainly, I am hoping that the Arabs will close the Islamic Society of North America umbrella organization here in central Indiana. You don't know what it is like to have a terrorist think tank just around the corner.

I want to stick to Carter on this thread because Carter said that Israel is responsible for the Islamic terrorist attacks in Paris because Carter is on the Islamic payroll. OK?

Hmmm, I might know more about having a "terrorist think tank just around the corner" than you realize.

The presence of Muslims grew by 67 percent nationwide, with estimates now pegged at 2.6 million, according to the census.

But in Buffalo Niagara, the percent increase for Muslims was a whopping 242 percent.

https://refugeeresettlementwatch.wordpress.com/2012/05/07/buffalo-ny-christians-and-jews-declining-in-number-muslim-population-increasing/

Buffalo is "just around the corner" from my mother's house.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (RNS) For years, opponents of the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro vowed to take their legal fight to shut down the mosque all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court.

That fight ended Monday (June 2), when the nation’s highest court declined to hear their case.

The four-year conflict over construction of the mosque, which opened in 2012, brought national attention to this Bible Belt city of 112,000 about 30 miles south of Nashville.

http://www.religionnews.com/2014/06/03/murfreesboro-mosque-fight-laid-rest-supreme-court-ruling/

I lived in Murfreesboro Tn during all of this. It wasn't the Muslims that were being violent there, it was the conservative Christians.

So I do know a little about it.

If we're going to question ex politicians that are "on the Islamic payroll" then let's question all ex politicians "on the Islamic payroll". Let's not make this into another leftie vs rightie attack on democrats that demonizes one side and excuses the other.

We have enough of that going on around here already.

Maybe you haven't noticed this but all these terrorist attacks whether real or promulgated always benefit the state which always uses the "crisis" to grant itself more money, more power and more control over it's citizens lives and freedom be it France, the UK, The USA or Israel.

In a way all these governments are playing right into the hands of the terrorists by turning themselves into totalitarian police states that will one day turn on their own citizens as is true of all totalitarian states in the past.

I'd like to avoid that day if at all possible.

All recent former big time politicians receive money from nefarious sources. Carter isn't an exception, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Cheney, Gore have all taken a dip into this pool. There are others, but I think you get the point.

About Carter lying...not sure I would call it a lie, more of an opinion. He has spent a lot of time in the Middle East and because of what he has seen and heard, he is stating what he believes to be true about a particular situation. You or I may not care for his opinion, but I'm not sure it is a lie.

He hasn't been a fan of the latest Israeli policy, that is without question. I have his book Palestine Peace Not Apartheid where he makes his case. So this really shouldn't be a surprise.

I agree.

In all probability and IMO as well, what he pontificates probably comes out of a sincere heart (it's possible).

No, the figures stated for Carter above are ten years old. His pitiful Carter Center or presidential library at Emory University in Atlanta has been funded only by the wealth of Arabs. Carter took money from a terrorist Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, who is so repulsive that Harvard University declined a grant from him.

In his book, Carter deplores people who have ties to Israel or Jews, but Carter seeks to hide his sole dependence on the Arabs, some of whom are holocaust deniers.

On another issue, Carter has also been closely allied with the communist murderers Fidel and Raul Castro and Hugo Chavez.

Carter also apparently made some sort of secret deal with North Korea when he was President, causing one member of Clinton's cabinet to denounce Carter as treasonous. Clinton himself dislikes Carter for the mess that Carter made.

Carter's lie is that he is a virtual lobbyist for the Arabs and that is the reason for his stupid statement that Israel is the cause of the Islamic attacks on Paris. If Carter could finish what Hitler started, it would not end the Islamic attacks on the world because Islam is against all other religions.

Again, he may be sincere in his choice (so to speak) to believe a body of propaganda which is against what the majority have been fed.

Seriously, I doubt if anyone one at the flotsam and jetsam population demographic plane (you and I?) will ever know the pure truth (apart from the word of God) until we are fully enlightened by heaven itself (then it won't matter anyway).

When I hear President Carter's words sometimes I get a little disturbed because it sounds so wrong. Yet I have an affinity for the man himself. I believe he is truly regenerate but gone astray.

Some Democrats have called Carter treasonous. One guy quit his center and called Carter a liar. Carter is cozy with the Castros and Maduro, and Chavez until he died. I think one of the most serious charges is taking money from known terrorists.

That is a serious charge.

There are republicans that have taken money from a Marxist terrorist organization also. SEE THIS.

Are the republicans who have taken money from a Marxist terrorist organization to be excused because a democrat has taken money from a terrorist organization?

I understand you don't like Jimmy Carter but gee golly wow man both sides have taken money from terrorist organizations.

Poncho, you hate the GOP more than anything. They have nothing to do with Carter's saying that Israel is to blame for the Paris terrorist attacks.

Your party, Poncho, doesn't seem to have a single elected official anywhere in the world.

No I hate hip hop and sub zero temperatures more than anything.

Can't say as I'm fond of the GOP for selling us out, arming our enemies, violating the constitution, backing neo nazis, and blaming the democrats for doing the same thing but I wouldn't say I hate it.

Any thinking person would have to admit that the Paris attacks benefit Washington and Israel's foreign policy of arming extremists and creating chaos in the middle east.

France voted in favor of the Palestinians and didn't see the sense in further hurting their own economy by going along with Washington's sanctions on Russia. Europe is caught in the middle and suffering because of Washington's lies and warmongering propaganda against Russia but Washington doesn't care about Europe. It cares about money, power and control.

Shame on the French for thinking theirs is an independent sovereign nation, eh?

I take it I'm supposed to be insulted because the majority of "conservatives" keep voting for the sell outs in your party? I'm not. I do wonder why people are so eager to keep voting for them after they have shown little or no loyalty to their constituents. Time and again.

But then partisan politics isn't about defending your freedom, your country and your countrymen so much as it is about blaming the other side and defending those who continue to sell you out.

Politics. Should be about right vs wrong. Not democrats vs republicans.

Anyone noticed that CMG answers questions with accusations? By his reply I have to assume the answer to my question . . . "Are the republicans who have taken money from a Marxist terrorist organization to be excused because a democrat has taken money from a terrorist organization?" is yes republicans who took money from a Marxist terrorist organization should be excused because a democrat did the same.

Carter is on the tv today saying that Israel's treatment of Palestine is the cause of Islamofascism and Islamic terror worldwide.

Carter , like all liberals, makes a habit of ignoring the elephant in the room....

the fact that palestinians and the rest of their friendly neighborhood islamists want one thing more than any other...

the total destruction of Israel and the annihilation of it's people. How the palestinians are treated doesn't matter one bit. It's just a convenient cover that do gooders like Carter always swallow whole.
