Not to derail this thread but I have another question. If Christ is the seccond in the Godhead and the Holy Spirit is third, is the Spirit of Christ (Rom 8:9 I assume) the same as the Holy Spirit? I believed the third part of the Godhead was the comforter (Jn 14:26) .

Vs 8 references the group in Matt 27 that were raised from the dead at the time of Christ's resurrection.

Good point. These newly "born again" believers, having received the new birth after a long time waiting for the Holy Spirit promise of a life joined as one with Christ, were now also given ressurrection out of due time as a witness to others that they might believe and put their faith in Christ.
