Yeah, fast in the day and do no work. Eat and drink to your heart's content at night, and do a little killing when you can.

Yeah, the proscription against not killing fellow Moslems flies out the window in a civil war.

Now you call terrorism a 'civil' war.

    Strange politics and stranger theology.

Jesus is the only way to the Father.

You're a nutcase, but Jesus loves nuts as much as He loves anyone else.

    Daisy,

Can a Christian proclaim faith in Jesus Christ 10% of the time and 90% in anti-christs?

You take a name in honor of the gods of agriculture and sea . . .

And you think I am name calling?

Welllllll beyond your strange politic, I hope that the God I worship is your God as well. Remember that He created the universe . . . And His Son died for our sins.

Yes, calling someone a nutcase is name calling. Equating my screen name with who I worship is about as valid as your political and theological arguments. You repeat several times that His Son died for our sins. Are you trying to convince yourself? It takes more than repeating it. It has to transfer from the head to the heart.

I will take that as a compliment. Certainly you would not mean it in any other spirit.

OK - I'll bite, are you sane?

    ;)

I think that the difference is, as was pointed out to me years ago, I have an uncanny ability to see weaknesses in an argument and show them. Or, as one friend that did not talk said once, "I wish that I could talk like you do. Then I would show them all." During that conversation, I realized that many people go through life with pent up emotions that they cannot reveal - they cannot articulate.

Sometimes my gift is more of a curse than a gift . . . but, when revealing error (part of a preachers calling) it is good to learn (on this board) what techniques will work better than others and when ya' just gotta get dirty and get the job done.
