Channeling the Kitchen Debate?

Recently J. D. Vance quite eloquently rebuffed the President of Ukraine, in support of President Trump and the American people. Whether this incident will impact his standing with the American voter similarly to Mr. Nixon's positive gain in 1959 is unknown. But as the Brits might say, "Good Show!"

This Brit wouldn't say, "Good Show". The whole thing was an attempt to extort Ukraine's mineral wealth without giving anything else in return. Quite rightly, President Zelenskyy wouldn't have anything to do with it. Shameful behaviour by Trump and Vance! I'm glad that Prime Minister Starmer has finally grown a backbone and is offering Zelenskyy full-hearted support. I doubt that will be enough on its own, but may Ukraine can offer China a share in these 'rare earths.' I'm sure they would jump at the chance and put the squeeze on Putin.

"Good show" is a British phrase that means "well done" or "good job," essentially expressing approval or congratulations for someone's accomplishment; it's considered a casual, positive exclamation.

Obviously some think President Zeienskyy did not attempt to extort America into giving a security pledge, rather than simply sign the Rare Earth deal.

And note the false claim, without "giving" anything in return, as if giving more than three times what Britain has given was nothing.

A really good show would be for the European Countries to collectively give Ukraine a mutual defense pledge including spending (collectively) more on defense than Russia, such that the outcome of further aggression would be plain to Mr. Putin.
