Chanukkah

    Chanukkah, the feast of the dedication, is found, for us, in the Apocrypha 1 Maccabees 4:52-59.

    The Jewish observace is based on the Talmud.
    It is 8 days beginning the evening of Kislev 25th.
    This year, 2023, it began on our December 7th Thursday evening after sundown.
