    Col 3:4

    When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

    When does Christ become Our Life ? Now many believe that Christ does not become Our Life until we become Believers in Him ! This assumption is dead wrong, in fact we cant believe on Him accept He is Our Life already, for without Him we can do nothing Jn 15:5

    I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

    Christ has been the True Believers Life long before they believed ! They always had Life in Him as He was always their Mediator Head, and John writes Jn 1:4

    In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

    2 The same was in the beginning with God.

    3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

    4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

    And they were Chosen IN HIM when ? Eph 1:4

    4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

    Christ was the believers Life and they had Life in Him, while they were dead in trespasses and sins and unbelief !

    Dont let this alarm you, because the same was True of their natural life in Adam in the beginning, Adam as their Natural Head was their Life before God before they any physical being at all ! The only reason why we were born naturally is because we had physical life already purposed in Adam Acts 17:26

    26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

    And its no difference in the Last Adam, Believers receive Spiritual Life because Christ was their Head and Life before they had any Spiritual being, but just as sure their natural life was manifested out of Adam from natural birth, so likewise their Spiritual life shall be manifested out of Christ from Spiritual Birth !

    What Men are Christ the Mediator for ?

    1 Tim 2:5

    5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    Is Christ the Mediator between God and all men without exception ? The answer is absolutely NO ! By no means, for Christ is Mediator according to the New/Better Covenant , for we read in Heb 8:6

    6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

    And its limited to God's Elect, the House of Israel/Judah Heb 8:8

    8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

    And thats the All Men He is Mediator unto, and they shall all know God [in Salvation] by Him Heb 8:11

    11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

    And this knowing coincides with the Knowing God wills and desires for here 1 Tim 2:4-5

    4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

    5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

    For lets not forget Paul is a Minister for the New Teatament / Covenant 2 Cor 3:6

    6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament/covenant; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

    So Paul had a view of Christ as Mediator of the New Covenant as Per Heb 8:6; 9:15;12:24

    Lets look at Heb 9:15

    15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament/covenant, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

    We can conclude that He is the Mediator of all men that comprise them who shall partake of the Promise of Eternal Inheritance, which is Abraham's Seed Gal 3:16-18

    16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

    17 And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.

    18 For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham[and his Seed] by promise.

    Rom 4:13-17

    13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.

    14 For if they which are of the law be heirs[of the promised inheritance], faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect:

    15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

    16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all,

    17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.

    So another way of saying it is that 1 Tim 2:5

    5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men/seed of Abraham, the man Christ Jesus;

    Called to receive the Inheritance Heb 9:15

    15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
