Christianity and Religion - or - Religion of Christianity?

alot of evangelicals are saying that Christianity is not a religion - but a relationship with God.

i believe it's both (looking at james 1:26-27)

i used to be fully against religion. but looking into it - alot of evangelicals have a twisted view of what religion actually is. or should be anyways.

what's your definition of religion?

any thoughts?

I believe you're correct. Despite the evangelical cliche, Christianity is indeed the true religion because it offers a true relationship with God.

why is it then... that it seems so many evangelical christians.. or christians in general - focus more on the Relationship end of things and almost completely forget the Religion part of it all?
