Recently, Bob Saget, a super-successful 'Hollywood jokester,' passed suddenly. Having worked with Bob on 'Full House,' I can attest to the fact he was not the 'squeeky-clean father' he portrayed on TV. His ultra-filthy humor may be found on YouTube (not recommended). I found the uber-praises of his co-workers, testifying to his 'saint-like' character in real life, typical of how the world judges its own. Tragically, though he had won the favor of man, he woefully lacked the favor of God, allowing him to temporarily glorify in his worldly 'success.' He now has an eternity to contemplate the 'error' of his ways.

I might add that two of his Full House co-workers are professing Christians. Yet they have no understanding of the holiness of God, nor of the holiness required of His disciples. Had they such spiritual discernment, they would not have waxed so eloquently about how 'great' a man he was, let alone that he was now 'resting in peace.'

    My first reply:

I know that Candace (DJ) is a professing Christian - I had always wondered if Candace ever shared the Gospel with Saget and the others on Full/Fuller House?

Of course Kirk, brother of Candace has been vocal of his Faith - in fact he went a bit overboard with with his TV family after his salvation.

Protestant - may we ask who the other professing Christian on Full House was; and also, your position with Full house?

As far as Saget - I had heard that his "comedy" was suited more for the room where you go, when you must regurgitate.

Re: Candace - I have no idea of her Gospel sharing with the other actors. Her desire to continue to be in the Hollywood spotlight casts doubt on the efficacy of her 'conversion,' in my opinion. John Stamos was the other professing Christian. However, his choice of Hollywood roles after 'Full House,' as well as interviews on Late Night Talk Shows, reveals a man who is 'Christian' in name only. I was involved with the behind the camera production of the show for several weeks.

Kirk Cameron is, in my opinion, quite naive in his Christian theology. He does not view Catholicism as an enemy of true Christianity. He also advocates for the preposterous 'Secret Rapture' positions adhered to by Futurists, having starred in several films which endorse this fiction.

The one ex-Hollywood star who appears to have a changed life after conversion is Chris Tucker. He refuses roles which contradict the teachings of Jesus. As a result, he works very little in Hollywood.

Another famous celebrity who needs to be exposed for her heretical beliefs is Betty White. Beloved and praised by millions, imagine the shock and anger if they were told she actually hated the true God and is now paying the price. The Unity Church is satanic in origin and teachings. When measured by the Word of God, few celebrities pass the test of justification by faith in the true Christ.

What does grace mean when we view brother's and sister's in Christ? Will Christ Jesus make them stand or will their incapacity to meet up with the standards of one poster on the Baptist Board cause God to withhold His grace?
Reading this thread, I wonder about grace.

Not quite sure the meaning of this post. The standards of Christianity are defined by the Bible. That is why Austin and others defend Calvinism - because it is biblical truth. Regeneration requires a new life -- perhaps not immediately, but fruit will be evident soon enough. Christians are to judge by the fruit of the Christian professor. Christians are to judge with righteous judgment. Christians use the Bible as their measuring rod. Biblical grace is not greasy grace. It is the powerful efficacious sovereign work of God in the heart and life of the Elect. It produces love of holiness and hatred of ungodliness. The newborn Christian will be drawn to God through His Word; He will grow in the knowledge of Christ; He will leave his old life which was self-centered and anti-Christ; He will give God all the glory for his salvation; and he will gladly testify to the saving grace of God whenever possible.

I have been writing several essays which asks the readership to make a judgment concerning the Pope of Rome. I do not ask judgment re: the average Catholic who has a form of religion. Instead, I focus on the man whose claims of office demand he is who he says he is, or else he and his predecessors are the biggest frauds Christianity has ever witnessed - the greatest deception of Satan, deceiving untold millions. I use photos and simple, clear Bible texts to help the reader come to a decision.

I have yet to hear the decision of Austin. Perhaps the grace of God will reveal the truth to him one day.

And here in Houston. Satanic heresy is everywhere. The good news is the promise of Christ: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect (Matthew 24:24). It is not possible the Elect will (ultimately) be deceived by the many false Christian preachers, leaders and prophets claiming the anointing of God.

How do you judge yourself? Spend a whole lot of time writing that essay and leave God to work on disciplining his children. He does a much better job of it than you or I can do.

Below is a publicity photo of 'born again' Kanye 'Ye' West with his new flame filming his latest 'Christian' video.

Do you realize that you are spending more time looking on the web for people to judge as bad Christians than you are spending on growing in your own faith?
Kanye West is not a member in my church. If he's a member of a church, the elders can discipline him if he needs discipline.

When I think of Hollywood Christians, I think of the late Dale Evans and Roy Rodgers.

In my early years, God lead me away from the stage. I am thankful.

when Hollywood producers came to Bob Jones Jr. in attempting to entice him to leave the responsibilities of the school and come with them, he said he would give them the answer in chapel. The next chapel, he demonstrated his tremendous talent by quoting “When I .survey the Wondrous Cross.”

The believer will show increasing evidence as they mature in Christ.

However, I place this thought into the thread.

Where is the discipleship of these who claim to be believers?

Where is that quiet place out of the glitter in which these may bring their life for accountability?

Many years ago, I had the privilege of working along side a former Dallas cowboy cheer leader, a last season lead on the ChIP series, and a solid believer. She recalled the scenes, parties, immortality, lack of accountability and the demonic oppression evidenced.

If the churches are looking for a mission field, there is such darkness in your own neighborhood.

As God gives occasion, witness, and as God bring forth the fruit born of Him, disciple that one.

I know of no successful believers that were not discipled, and with a disciple is discipline.

Why would one bother to witness if they haven’t time to raise the children God gives?

Perhaps that is the reason so few are witnesses! They don’t want the responsibility of discipleship of a new born believer!

    Observing.
Why do we think we can look at high profile (in the eyes of the world) people, whom we have no personal relationship with, and then declare their spiritual condition with God?

We do that with everyone - and IMHO - it is natural
and remember - we are to judge based on Biblical standards.

There are several Born-again Christians in Hollywood -
just think of it - if they were all fully committed -think of the revival that could explode.

You are making judgment based upon internet websites. Think about that.
