What are some typical Christmas hymns in your church?

Curiosity reigns supreme here, because I didn't know a single one at church tonight! It was WEIRD! I asked my husband if these songs were an Oklahoma thing and he said he didn't know, but that he'd never heard any of them until he lived in Georgia before.

I can't even tell you the names because I don't remember.

So, hopefully people from all over will respond because apparently different parts of the country have different traditional songs!

What were the songs, just out of curiosity?

    We sing:

    He Is Born
    Gentle Mary Laid Her Child
Who Is He in Yonder Stall
    Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne
    The Birthday of a King
    O Little Town of Bethlehem
Angels from the Realms of Glory
While Shepherd's Watched their Flocks by Night
Lift Up Your Heads, O Ye Gates*
    O Come, O Come Emmanuel*
Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming*
    Hail to the Lord's Anointed*
    Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus*
Angels We Have Heard On High
    Hark! the Herald Angels Sing
    Joy to the World!
It Came Upon the Midnight Clear
    O Come, All Ye Faithful
    Emmanuel, Emmanuel
    The First Noel
    Silent Night! Holy Night!
    What Child Is This?
As With Gladness Men of Old
    We Three Kings
Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
    Tell Out My Soul!

    *denotes Advent hymns

I really don't remember except one, and that's because Pamela listed it! It was "The Birthday of a King." From her list, I've also never heard Gentle Mary or Born to Die.

    From yours, I've never heard:
    He Is Born
    Gentle Mary Laid Her Child
Who Is He in Yonder Stall
    Thou Didst Leave Thy Throne
    The Birthday of a King
Lift Up Your Heads, O Ye Gates*
    Tell Out My Soul!

There's a few songs otherwise on your list that I've not heard in church, ever, but wow, they're amazing praises! Like "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence." The only way I ever knew it existed was through listening to Fernando Ortega. Dunno if he sings it the way churches do.

Child in the manger, Infant of Mary
Thou Who wast rich beyond all splendour
    Once in royal David's city
Christians, awake, salute the happy morn
    Infant holy, Infant lowly
Hark the glad sound, the Saviour comes
Glory to God! the angel said
Brightest and best of the sons of the morning
    Let heaven and earth combine

David, thanks for reminding me of "Brightest and Best!"

I haven't heard "Once in Royal David's City" in any state except Ohio.

If any are on your list from what I heard last night, my memory's not reminding me. The music director emails worship choir and orchestra the songs, but he changed them and they're not as listed so now I can't tell you. GRRRR

Here are a few of ours -- probably more standard the rest --- nothing out of the ordinary ---

O Come O Come Emmanuel (especially the first Sunday of Advent)
    O Come All Ye Faithful
    O Little Town of Bethlehem
Angels from the Realms of Glory
Angels We Have Heard On High
    Hark the Herald Angels Sing
    Silent Night Holy Night
    Joy to the World
Go Tell It on the Mountain
It Came upon the Midnight Clear
    The First Noel
    We Three Kings
