Christ's Cause of Death

I have been trying to remember the title and author of a book written by a medical doctor/baptist. the book gives a detailed explanation on the actual medical cause of death of Christ. Anyone who has heard of it please let me know!

I'm not aware of a book, but I thought there was an article written on the subject you were talking about in a medical journal (JAMA perhaps?)
I don't remember the title.

I did a google search for "jama crucifixion" and found many results. One guy web page has a bibliography that might be helpful

it appears that this web page
has the JAMA article "Study on the Physical Death of Jesus Christ"
