I wish the Constitution Party in Arkansas was as active as yours in Florida is.

 

Yeah, I know. Unfortunately, I have to work at the county fair that day. I could try to get out of it so I could go but I am working at the fair to help out my brother-in-law who lines up the ticket sellers and ticket takers...and I would like to stay married to my wife. That's also why I sell tickets at the local high school home football games as my brother-in-law does the same thing for those games.

My wife once asked me if I wanted to stop selling tickets and I asked, "You mean I can?" To which she replied, "Do you want your wife to be happy?" The subject has not been discussed again.

 

Well, maybe the next time the CP Arkansas has a meeting in the Little Rock area I can go. Sometimes their meetings are way up in northwest Arkansas.

 

Right now, I'm supporting the Republican Party just to keep the Democratic Party at bay. Latter on, I'm planning to take a harder look at the Constitution Party. I hope they can present some viable candidates starting at the local and state levels.

 

You could start a group in your home town. We have been having get togethers over coffee at the local diner here for some time.

 

Tell the kid playing the violin to tuck his shirt in--he looks like an Indianapolis street kid. Was he wearing a belt or does he have to hold his pants when he runs to catch the bus?

Greg Dixon? That guy is quite well known in Indianapolis and no one likes him. No wonder he moved to Florida and lives the good life it seems from the picture. Meanwhile back in Indy we got a big bill from him for non-payment of taxes. Thanks, Rev. Greg--please don't come back to Indy ever again unless you intend to pay up. By the way, one of your last demonstrations involved a bunch of poorly clad kids on a bitter cold November day outside the US Federal Courthouse. Why don't you get adults to do your dirty work?

 

Well, excuuuuse me. It would take a Philadelphia lawyer to know what you are talking about. At any rate, they took Rev. Dixon's church away from him by the US Marshal, which is the reason that he is not too popular in Indy. And poor Rev. Dixon could not walk out--he had to be carried by medical people. So I am actually glad to see him so very well dressed and so tanned and so plump and appearing in the swank area of West Palm Beach!

He looked a lot better dressed than the poor kids that were doing his dirty work.

I bet all the CP kids run around with their shirt tails out. I know that the urchins here in Indy do. They don't wear belts and you can see their underwear when their pants fall down if they don't grab them fast enough. I guess the CP kids are hip hop after all, huh? Of course, West Palm Beach rich probably do as they please.

You know I try hard to be as adult as you are but somehow I just seem to fall short by the lofty standards of the CP and Rev. Dixon. I suppose that you will call me a liar for that, too.

Dixon's case drug on for years and he was jailed more than once. I quit paying attention to it because I thought he would get away with it. I have forgotten more about Dixon than you have ever known. He is the Cindy Sheehan of the far right.

Your assertion that his legal case is simple and easy to understand is false.

I was not dealing in stereotypes--I have seen kids with no belt for the last 20 years. I had to wonder if this rich white kid was just another big-city urchin or part of the West Palm Beach rich.

I don't know why you like to make accusations that people who don't get things exactly the way that you want them are spouting off what they don't know, or are spreading lies.

All I know is that Dixon, who is a very boring speaker and person, got into trouble with the government over taxes and had his second-class, run-down dirty church confiscated and had to be carried out on a stretcher because he was unable to walk like a normal man. And all of the people that once went to his church have left by the 100s. And his son went and begged the government for a government building to meet in and they met in Manual High School for some time before they moved to a cafeteria.

Now I know that you will call me a liar again as you have many times before or you will say that I am not intelligent enough to debate with you or something like that. But I am sincere in saying that you are much nicer than any of the other members of the CP.

You should tell Rev. Dixon that you are glad that he is walking again and to stay out of the pictures, or better yet, to stay out of the meeting. It tells me a lot about the CP that they let him hang around. But then we know him a lot better than you do. And we know all about the people who have gone to his church.

In fact, I will tell you about Arthur--and I am sure that Rev. Dixon will know who I am talking about when you mention it to him. Arthur said that Rev. Dixon used to be a good preacher until he got mixed up in politics. Arthur worked for Dixon for years passing out tracts downtown until Arthur died a few years ago. I talked to him a lot.

I know all about Dixon and Roloff, also. Poor Roloff--he didn't live long enough to find out. I like Roloff but there is nothing to like about Dixon. I have heard him on the radio personally attack a member of his congregation publically because the man made a casual statement that he couldn't make it without his Southern Gospel music. Dixon demeaned and mocked him for 10 minutes on the radio.

I suppose that you will call me a liar for that as you usually do.

 

And David Duke almost became the Republican governor of Louisiana.

 

Yes, but the GOP disavowed Duke and the CP has Dixon at the swank resort of West Palm Beach for a banquet. Did you see the picture of the man who had to be carried out of his run-down church? His church was not quite as nice as West Palm Beach--it was nearer a bunch of go-go joints on Madison Ave. in a neighborhood that no longer was like West Palm Beach by any means.

You should have seen, Ken, what it was like that cold day after Thanksgiving in the years before Nine Eleven when Rev. Dixon had a group of kids carrying signs for him in front of the US Federal Courthouse downtown and not one of them was warmly dressed. This guy doesn't care about anyone. He is very unpopular in Indianapolis for his constant demonstrations, including his refusal to walk out of his building like a man.

I suppose the CP will launch a personal attack against me for this and call me a liar.

 

And I will tell you another thing about Rev. Dixon. His longtime friend was a Nazarene preacher by the name of Rev. Gene Hood, who owned a radio station and had a Southern Gospel program on Saturday mornings. Gene Hood is from Beech Grove, an eastern Indianapolis suburb. Well, something happened because Gene Hood stopped attending demonstrations with Greg Dixon and in the last years of his radio program on Saturday morning there was no mention of Greg Dixon.

Dixon blamed the GOP for his problems and when the Democrat US Marshal came to carry him out of his building because Dixon wouldn't walk--poor little guy--Dixon spoke up for the US Marshal and helped him get elected sheriff of Marion County (Indianapolis). So you can see that Indianapolis Republicans have had their fill of Dixon. This sheriff that we are now stuck with decreased patrols in my neighborhood and now we have prostitutes, male and female, 24/7--yeah, I think next to nothing of Dixon.
