Martial artist and actor Chuck Norris died yesterday morning at the age 86

Though it was his martial arts prowess and action film roles that made him famous, Chuck Norris also published many books.
Many were autobiographical and touched on his strong Christian faith, passion for martial arts and belief in Zen.

Well if there was any doubt we were in the Apocalypse it’s gone now.

He was a good man and was a believer by all accounts.

Will be sending angels to comfort all his loved ones, and be praying for the repose of his soul.

Chuck was a member of Prestwood Baptist Church in Dallas, TX; a SBC church.

From Belief.net: In his autobiography, “Against All Odds: My Story,” he detailed the night when his wife went into pre-term labor with twins, writing, “I had earned millions of dollars over my lifetime. I’d been a friend to several presidents, yet all the money in my bank account couldn’t help me now. There was only one person to whom I could turn. It was God.”

  • Norris enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1958 at the age of 18, and served as an Air Police Officer
  • Norris was stationed at Osan Air Base in South Korea, where he discovered and began training in Tang Soo Do.
  • Norris was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 1962.
