On our family web site we have lots of pix of the grand babies - but have had to "hide" them after we saw hit after hit on pix of them in the tub.
We scratch our heads, but there ARE lots of perverts out there. No use to subject our loved ones -- and youth groups, etc -- to such abuse.

Well, too, I think you should have permission to post pictures of others, anyway.
There are companies that provide pictures that would serve well for websites. At first, I thought this was impersonal, but actually, it is probably a good idea. People change, come and go, and die. But generic pictures live forever. Sort of. You don't want those seventies pictures with wide suitcoat flaps, though.

Why, there's a church web page in Kentucky; and look at that page full of tasty little morsels. Even got the address and service times posted. I was just asked to redesign a youth ministry website in North Carolina. I spoke to the YP (youth pastor) about the bios he had on the site about his kids. he said it isnt a problem and refused to change them
I went to the site, and got personal info, and within an hour I had contacted 13 out of 25 of his kids.
and you know what? the only info he listed was
AOL username, email,town, birthday,first name,church and high school attended.Also listed were their favorite things, etc. Great way to strike up a conversation with a teenager online.

I congratulate you - it aint easy keeping someone that innocent
I posted my address - and info and everything about me when i was 15 (course I wasn't ever that goodlookin' - Some people post more about themselves - then i ever did/do, and at far younger ages
However, i must agree about posting pics of kids who arent able to hurt you by punching or kicking isnt a wise thing, but then again why would a church be posting pics of each person by themself? Thats like crazy....
However doesnt your church have usher sweeps? - ie my parents/my old church had/has? a parking lot usher, building usher - in conjunction with standard ushers, and they would walk around their areas, and direct people to designated areas, like washroom, auditorium, and police station - And yes if someone was sent to washroom we would assume 1 minute time, continue sweep, and return after a minute and go in and wash our hands, If we didnt run across the individual, we'd notify the parking lot usher, and if after a sweep, i didnt find him again, would inform head usher, who would then detail a few folk to assist.
