Eric Clapton Says He Won’t Play Venues That Require Proof of Vaccination
Eric Clapton will not perform at venues that require proof of vaccination.

“Following the PM’s announcement on Monday the 19th of July 2021, I feel honour bound to make an announcement of my own: I wish to say that I will not perform on any stage where there is a discriminated audience present. Unless there is provision made for all people to attend, I reserve the right to cancel the show,” Clapton said.

The news follows U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s announcement Tuesday that as restrictions on social gatherings lift, nightclubs must require guests to show a Covid Pass from the U.K.’s National Health Service upon entry for everyone over the age of 18.

If that is his decision - so be it.

If an organization demands the shot card - fine -

they both have a right to their decisions - but deal with the outcome

Why do private organizations have a right to any of my medical records? They don't. That's the same as saying you can't come in unless you are HIV negative or have a current negative TB test. Private companies are not entitled to my medical records!

You're right. Anyone prying is in violation of HIPAA Law.

They dont have a right to your medical records
you have the choice to show it to them.
They have the right to ensure safety for their patrons.

If you dont want to show your shot record - then dont go.

You say "They have the right to ensure [the] safety for their patrons." If the vaxxed have greater protection from COVID than the unvaxxed, what's the problem? However, it looks more and more like the vaxxed are getting ill and dying while the unvaxxed are doing well.

Since less than 1% of the world's population has died from COVID alone, what is the big rush to get this dangerous, experimental poke in the deltoid?

No one is checking if folks have smallpox or TB. What's so special about SARS2?

I think the vaxxed pose a risk to the unvaxxed. That shedding is potentially harmful.

Salty, it does not work like that. It is illegal for people to require you to disclose your medical records. We don't trade liberty for perceived safety. These laws were passed to protect the privacy of people with HIV and Hep C. Unless you are a state health department, you are not entitled to compulsory health records.

you are correct in that you are not required to show proof of a shot. It is you decision if you choose - and likewise - the business has the choice of not allowing you in without proof.

It just like your social security number. You go to the bank - and you want to open a bank account - you must share your SSAN. If you dont - you cannot open an account. There is no constitutional right to a checking account.

No, it's not the same. It's illegal for them to ask for my medical records as a requirement to do business with me. The law is the law. Cuts both ways.

Is this that same SS# that was specifically stated to "not be used for ID" by it's original proponents, that you now have to put on virtually any bureaucratic paperwork or other legal papers!?
So much for security of your SS# & government's "word"!!!:Rolleyes:Whistling:Mad:Devilish

Thats right - by 1970 All military branches were using SSAN as the SM service number -
About a decade ago- they have went back to a service number
Social Security Numbers to be replaced with DOD ID number

I don't care your personal belief about "REQUIRING" the vax, BUT, it IS just one more small push of the camel into the tent!!
AND, even more critical, is that if conservatives do not vote en masse in '22, the vax requirement will just be a mosquito bite compared to the next steps taken by the left!!!
