The only thing they have steadfastly promised to do is PROSECUTE TRUMP. That solves NONE of the big issues and has no impact on my life. So they have 2 years to show results or face 100% of the blame with nobody to point a finger at. There is no "Republican Senate" blocking all they want to accomplish.

As I said, such chances are few and far between, and the Republicans squandered the last single party control taking care of Billionaire Taxes and Inheritance without touching any of the big issues that I listed. Will Democrats to any better?

I think that he is probably correct. Think about it this way, the Democratic Party is a coalition of Old Southern Democrats, Old Union Democrats, Radical Environmentalist Democrats, LGBQT Rights Democrats, and Black Lives Matter Democrats that have nothing in common except a hatred of Donald Trump. Trump really is the glue holding the DNC together and energizing its base. Once it comes time to actually GOVERN, I expect something resembling a dysfunctional European Coalition Government with each faction pulling in a different direction and little getting done (except dismantling whatever Trump built).

• We are already squandering TRILLIONS, so "more of the same" is no real change.
• Israel already has Nuclear capability and only respect for the US prevents them from dealing with Iran unilaterally. If the US stops being an "ally", then Israel's hands are untied. The Seven Day War showed that God still watches over Israel.
• China has already surpassed the US in GNP. The reality is that absent some radical change (and the US never changes policy RADICALLY), we have begun a long slow decline out of First Place ... like the British Empire of an earlier century. We can beat our chests and claim whatever we want, but the larger economy supports the most growth and toys so the gap will only widen. Besides, Russia will only allow the US to get so close to China before they manipulate the media with THEIR bots. Motivated self interest at its best.
