This reminds me of an incident that happened about 40 years ago on the Fort Campbell, KY, Army base.
A member of the church of which I belonged to that's located in Clarksville, TN (which is immediately adjacent to much of Ft. Campbell's property) wanted to have his own Bible study for families who lived on the Ft. Campbell family housing area(s) [There's several different family housing areas on the base, most all of which are very close to each other.]
Many of the families that lived in these housing areas liked his idea of a Bible study in his home and in very little time, he had a rather large attendance for it.
But, this brought on a problem for him.
The street on which he lived was very narrow, and some of his next door neighbors had trouble navigating the street in order to access their own homes. Then too, apparently the base's fire marshal deemed it to be a potential hazard since it also would hinder the fire trucks from getting through if there were a fire in his vicinity.
Bottom line was that he was forced to discontinue his home Bible study.
He still served as an active member of our off-base church, but couldn't continue the Bible study in his on-base home.
In this particular situation, I agreed that while his idea of a home Bible study was well-intended, the logistics of having one just were not in his favor--and I think that even God would agree that though my friend's heart was in the right place, his home wasn't the right place to have a Bible study.
That was 40 years ago. My friend was subsequently re-assigned to some other Army base, and we lost contact with him. Also, I moved to Nashville (some 50 miles away), so I even lost contact with several people with which I served at that church. I still consider them my friends, but distance and other factors tend to keep us apart more than I'd like to.
I've been with another fine church for over 20 years now, and now I have a whole new bunch of brothers and sisters in Christ for friends.

Just think, if the Lord tarries (Or if He chooses to call me home to be with Him), what a wonderful future I'll have when all the many friends who've already gone on before me, plus the many friends He's given me at present, plus the ones He may give me in the future, plus the ones here on BB that I've never personally met, will someday be all gathered together at His feet, won't that be something!!
