    Time for predictions:

    (2)LSU/(12)South Carolina

LSU wins a close, low scoring game. If there is a big win for LSU it won't be until the last quarter. I will still go with the low score win for LSU (they are playing at LSU as well). Strangely, the mediocre quarterback for South Carolina, Mitchell, now and then performs at a premier level under certain types of pressure and if he responds in this unusual but not foreign way, all bets are off.

    (22)Georgia/(16)Alabama

Great match up. Two excellent coaches. Alabama outscores Georgia.

    (21)Kentucky/Arkansas

    Hmmmm....Kentucky.

    (10)Penn State/Michigan UPSET!

I said Michigan will lose only one more game this year. It won't be this one. UPSET prediction (I don't even like Michigan but I don't call 'em as I like 'em). Penn State is good though so it will be a good game, but an UPSET!

    Reflection time.

Yes LSU won and it was a much lower scoring game than their previous 3. Not quite a real "low scorer" but compared to the first 3 and the rest of the season this will prove to be just that. As well LSU trailed at the beginning of the game.

Alabama did NOT outscore Georgia. Georgia won 26-23.

    Kentucky DID beat Arkansas, 42-29.

And my UPSET PICK was right on, Michigan beat #10 Ranked Penn State 14-9.
*As I said in another thread and here, Michigan will only lose 1 more game this year.

Michigan and Penn State is not the upset of the week though. That belongs to Syracuse defeating Louisville in Louisville.

The Cardinals was predicted to finish second or third in the Big East and Syracuse finish in the basement again this year.

    GO MOUTAINEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Bama/UGA game took a little wind out of the "Saban is god" crowd's sail in Tuscaloosa.

Dolphin fans spell his name with a "t" rather than a "b".
