(CNSNews.com) - Federal taxpayers are subsidizing a college in New York whose art school is currently displaying works that include a drawing of a man with a crucifix coming out of his rectum, a drawing of a man with a rosary coming out of his rectum, and rosaries decorated with penises.

This is the type of scum free thinkers, atheists, the ACLU, and the American taxpayer through taxation supports. No wonder the Muslims call us the great satan.

Can you imagine the outcry in the muslim community if theses displays disparaged muhammed?

Riots, protests, killings...the campus might even be burned to the ground.

The first thing the government would do is unfund it to appease muslims. Any Christian protests will likely be ignored.

The story mentioned none of these. It specified National Endowment for the Arts. Nice disparagement attempt of your favorite boogeymen though. Why not throw in Catholics and Presbyterians while you re at it.

Interesting to see you side with them.

And interesting to see you side against them; though they weren't bought up, either.

The National Endowment for the Arts should be destroyed.

I sided with no one...merely made an observation. I do think tax dollars should not be used for patenty obscene material. It is protected free expression, but shouldn't be publicly funded.

That's also true of 'Cutter,' who you claimed "sided" with the muzzlims.

Then why did he couple it with an unwarranted attack on " free thinkers, atheists, the ACLU, and the American taxpayer"?

False headline. College gets millions of tax dollars, yes, but only $122,000 went to the art program and only a fraction of that would have supported the sacrilegious artwork. The headline is blatantly false, sensationalist, and intentionally misleading.

Given the source is a pseudo-news web site, I am not surprised. CNS is on par with The Weekly World News' stories about space aliens advising the President. Only WWN knew it was parody.

It's not because it is a so-called "Christian" news source. It is because they have a history of sensationalistic, yellow journalism and plain out and out bad reporting. I'd say the same if they were not touting themselves as Christian. That label doesn't make it so. Anyone can put up a web site.

Really? By pointing out that saying you are a Christian news site doesn't make you one, and that their track record is abysmal? How many Pulitzers have their "reporters" won? Do they report on site, or do they have staff members who rewrite and spin wire stories? Where are their first person interviews with newsmakers? You are hilarious. If pointing that out is irrational, then count me in!
