Combat Conditioning

    I was given the book Combat Conditioning by Matt Furey. I was told he has some excellent stuff on exercises to strengthen the body without weight lifting, etc.

    Anyone here have any experience with his work?

    I don't know, but I have been combating conditioning ever since I turned 40.

    If you can overlook some of the New Age and Zen meditation concepts in some of his books, I'm sure you will find his excersises to be a really good workout. There are some guys at my office that do "combat conditioning" every day using Furey's excersises, I join them from time to time.

    Yes I have noticed the new age and zen items in the book. But I guess it is like anything else....you take the meat and throw out the bones. [​IMG]

    Along the same lines but without all that is Pavel Tsatsouline's work. Take a look at his _Naked Warrior_ for bodyweight exercises, as an example.
